Untitled Works

Polly’s Picture Show

Untitled Works was a photographic installation with sound, presented during Nuit Blanche Amsterdam at the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam’s Red Light District. Nuit Blanche is a night-time art festival bringing together contemporary art, performance, music, and installations throughout the city.

For the project, Polly’s Picture Show interviewed the artists Francois Dey, Jaap Scheeren, Adam Etmanski, Frederic Klein, Kaweh Modiri, and Styrmir Örn Guðmundsson about ambitious, bizarre, and unrealized ideas for artworks and projects.

Based on these conversations, a photographic installation was created that abstractly visualized the moment in which a creative idea emerges. Alongside the images, visitors could listen to the artists’ stories and fantasies through wireless headphones, creating an immersive environment of image, sound, and imagination.
