Pruimenbloesem explores how photography can freeze moments of intimacy, romance, and eroticism in a way that simultaneously feels staged, distant, and artificial. The series creates a restrained and slightly awkward atmosphere, balancing between sensuality and irony.

For the work, I used stills from a Dutch porn film from 1982. The explicit scenes are carefully covered with clouds of flowers, creating images that feel both romantic and censored.
